Accessibility statement

Many people who use this site are living with the effects of a brain injury, such as trouble concentrating, sensitivity to light or fatigue. The site is built to be easy to read and use for them and for everyone else.

What standard does this site follow?

The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Text and buttons meet AA color contrast, every form field has a label, pages work with a keyboard and screen readers, and nothing on the page moves on its own. The one animation, a short line drawing on the homepage, is turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.

How is the content written?

Every page opens with a direct answer, uses short sections with clear headings, and prints every question and answer in full, with nothing hidden behind buttons or menus.
